Rose intended to use her degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University to pursue a career in media or publishing, but life had other plans for her. She joined People Ignite to gain experience in the corporate world, and ended up discovering her passion in learning and development. She began in People Ignite as a training associate handling administrative tasks and coordination. In her 11 years with the company, she was able to handle different roles – from operations, to partner management, as well as customer engagement, having the rich experiences to handle customers like Microsoft, Globe Telecom, United Laboratories and Jollibee Food Corporation. This gave her a good appreciation of the business as well as the industry in general. After getting her Masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, she currently is the Managing Director of People Ignite.

 

 

She also spends her time training and facilitating several sessions, including programs for collaboration, communication, presentation skills, personal leadership programs, and product appreciation sessions. She served as a product evangelist for the resellers and retailers of Microsoft during the launch of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007, having been trained in Microsoft Singapore for these two products. She has also trained in Southeast Asia for the following sessions: How to Present Effectively, How to Turn Conflict to Collaboration and How to Communicate Effectively. She is one of only two accredited Master Trainers of Think on Your Feet® in the country, an international program on business communication.

 

 

Having led the life-changing program of Microsoft’s Ambassadorship program, Rose has traveled the country in pursuit for excellence amongst educators and employees as a facilitator and speaker. Rose’s passion on training and people development gets translated during her training sessions in People Ignite.
