Wonder is a hospitality management professional who brings with her 2 decades of experience in training and development, managing hospitality operations and ensuring guest satisfaction. Her focus is on Hospitality Services, Resorts and Attractions, Hotel Operations, Banquet and Catering and Food and Beverage.
Wonder’s training and development experience covers both the private and public sectors with areas of expertise including facilitating focus groups to assess and design learning needs, curriculum design, classroom and on-job- training (OJT) delivery, measuring training effectiveness and conducting mystery audits. She has trained programs in various domains including Service Excellence, Employability Skills, Personal Effectiveness, Food and Beverage, Hotel and Accommodation Services, Leadership and People Management. Participants have found her training delivery to be dynamic, enriching and learner-centric.
Wonder has gained a thorough understanding of Service Excellence through holding senior positions with Singapore’s first Integrated Resort, Private Membership Clubs as well as Food and Beverage establishments. Her strength in Hospitality Service comes from the practical experience where Wonder developed, implemented and drove service initiatives across a 13,000-employee organization. She was heavily involved in managing end to end service interventions, where she developed training programs and OJT Service Blueprints to improve work flow in various areas.
Her training methodology goes beyond classroom discussions and role playing. Wonder customizes programs to suit the unique needs of Clients, from leadership to frontline employees. As an Adult Educator, Wonder believes strongly that classroom learning and theories should be applicable to work. Her goal is to ensure that every Learner sees a reason for learning something. Wonder often translates concepts into related and familiar settings for participants so that they can understand how it will be useful to them.
