Maria Kassova joins Stafford & Chan (Training) Pte Ltd as a Training Consultant and Coach in Personal Empowerment courses. These include workshops in Persuasive Presentation Skills, Cross-Cultural Communication, Assertive Communication, Effective Communication Skills, Communication across Generations, Emotional Intelligence, Influencing Skills, Difficult conversations.
Before becoming a facilitator and executive coach, Maria held senior distribution/sales leadership roles in London and Singapore in global media companies such as BBC Worldwide, Discovery Networks Europe / Asia, AMC, and NBC Universal. Her work entailed leading global teams and negotiating multi-million dollar deals for TV channels with clients in EMEA and Asia-Pacific. With over 20 years of corporate experience, Maria knows well the challenges of increasing sales targets, intense competition, and demanding clients.
Maria has lived and worked in 44 countries (Europe, Africa, Asia, US), which has made her uniquely sensitive to cultural challenges in delivering strategies. She has learnt how to turn them into opportunities using warmth and competence – skills that her partners have found unique and valuable. She is fluent in English, Bulgarian, French and Russian.
Maria has an MBA (South Bank University, London) and an MA in International Economic Relations (University of National and World Economy, Sofia). She has a Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology. She is a Trainer and Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming, a certified coach, hypnotherapist and is accredited in Belbin Team Roles.
In 2012, Maria co-authored the Marshall Cavendish book Success 365, which offers tips and tools for peak performance at work. This book still holds a prominent position in the business category in South East Asia.
